The goal of this lesson is for the pupils to increase their awareness of how much in everyday life requires the burning of fossil fuels, and to understand the impact this has on natural processes such as the greenhouse effect and the carbon cycle.

Project the illustration about the carbon cycle up on a screen or wall.
